As the managing director of Cambridge-based venture capital firm General Catalyst, Larry Bohn seeks out enterprises with the potential to transform their markets. And he’s found them in spades. Over the last two decades, Bohn has backed big-name software companies such as HubSpot, Black Duck, and Drift, with many of his investments paying off through successful IPOs or lucrative acquisitions. Bohn came to venture capital after working at the intelligence software company NetGenesis, serving as president and CEO and helping to take the company public. Bohn holds a bachelor of arts in English from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a master of arts in English linguistics from Clark University.
